Pixie Parasol Commission
This commission was requested by Pixie Parasol who is a content creator and they run their own hand crafted greeting card business. They needed a business card because they are starting to do craft faires and they want to get their business out there. This commission was very fun because I was translating a hand crafted style to a something digital. We decided to keep the colors to pastels because her original online name was purple pixie parasol and even though they dont have the purple in their name anymore they wanted to keep it as a main color with the pastel blue being the sub color. One last thing I wanted to add is that I wanted to embrace the elements of crafts in the design so I added design elements such as paper and yarn stitches at the top of the business card. Later on Pixie Parasol Commissioned me again for a banner, place holder social media graphics and an icon background. It was fun to see how I can apply the style of the business card to other mediums like a banner. In the end I feel like I was able to keep all of her brand elements consistent and create branding she resonates with.
